Always wipe fat & oil from fry pan or plates with a paper towel before washing up.
Fat is the number 1 cause of blockage and failure of septic trenches.
Dont over tighten taps as this will wear out the washers faster.
If your taps are running slow, try unscrewing the aerator from the end of the spout to clear out any sediment buildup
